Common questions
›Does merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied into the new document as-is — nothing is re-compressed or re-rendered, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. The merged file is roughly the sum of the originals' sizes.
›How do I control the page order?
Files merge in the order you add them. Add them one by one in the order you want, or remove a file with the ✕ and re-add it to move it to the end. To rearrange pages within the merged result, run it through the Reorder pages tool afterwards.
›How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There's no fixed file count. The practical limit is your device's memory — around 100 MB of combined PDFs is a safe ceiling on most computers and phones.
›Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser — the file is opened, processed, and saved on your own device. There is no upload in the code path, which you can verify by watching the network tab, or by loading the page and then switching to airplane mode: the tool still works.
